This is the southern edge of their range they grow wild in the woods of Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Virginia and West Virginia. ![]() We had never seen pawpaws, but were itching to plant some. One of them was "Way Down Yonder in the Paw-Paw Patch." So we made what seemed like a logical move - we ordered some pawpaw plants from an online nursery.
